Process Plant & Systems

Defabs Engineering Limited has over three decades’ experience in providing process engineering services and solutions to the food, beverage and healthcare markets. A full service to existing and new clients is available , comprising process design from the conceptual stage through manufacture to handover as a working production system.

Single Source Supplier

Clients who want to employ a single supplier to carry out design/modifications to existing and new process plant may take advantage of Defabs’ working philosophy, with a single point of contact on projects that are not large enough to warrant the appointment of a major project management specialist.

Plant appraisals and audits

A complete hygiene engineering service is available comprising an audit of the process plant to asses the hygienic integrity, microbiological and chemical risk areas, cleaning in place efficiency and CIP system design. Such an audit can prove to be very cost effective in the reduction of waste product and rework costs, reduction of CIP utilities and effluent costs.

Project Engineering

Defabs have a highly experienced, multi-skilled project engineering team with the ability to provide process, packaging, mechanical, electrical and automation skills all together into one co-ordinated activity, both on-time and within budget.

All project engineering tasks, from the preparation of technical briefs and design specifications through to CDM, Project installation, Commissioning, Training and Documentation are handled in-house.

We have a constant investment programme ensuring all of our engineers are trained in the various safety card schemes relevant to the trade and industry we are working in.

The Design and Management team will typically encompass process design and development, project co-ordination and cost saving analysis along with keeping up to date with all the latest health and safety requirements.

We can offer a comprehensive documentation and commissioning package including IQ/OQ documents, material certificates, CE conformity declaration and O&M manuals. IQ/OQ validation can be offered with one of our project engineers to assist with validation procedures.
