Defabs has been providing skids for the Veolia Water for the past five years and has already completed 5 so far in 2022.
These vary from skid to skid in size and requirements, and are in use to treat water, either on a fixed site or used as mobile devices. So considering the requirements these must be manufactured to a high standard, are fully quality checked before being released from our workshop. We have a dedicated team on the works to ensure consistency of quality and awareness of the client’s requirements.
Whilst the instructions are received with a detailed specification, P&ID, and a manufacturing document schedule, it is up to Defabs to correctly interpret these requirements, ensure on time completion, as there is often a short delivery period, plus issue with full documentation and traceability to include weld maps, weld logs, welder qualifications, material certificates, final drawings, test certification and calibration information.
Quality inspections include testing and dimension checks, plus visual inspections and weld checks.
Defabs fabricates within the workshop the tank, pipework and frame, within a dedicated area of the workshop, in line with our ISO 9001:2015 procedures to ensure consistency of the completed product.
